Thanks a lot, It was the rag that scratched it in the first place so I was thinking....maybe somthing like an LCD screen cloth would work a lot better?

"does anyone know how to etch plexiglass?"

very carefully, lol. i have etched a few pieces with a wooden template laid over the glass and a dremel. they turned out....OK.

i belive the proper way is to sandblast it, or use some chemical, much like you would with regular glass. i cant really give you any advice, though, as ive never tried those methods.

:shhh: i do cocaine :/shhh:

Shock,
Meguiars sells stuff for plastics to help clear it up and remove small scratches. I've never been able to find the stuff locally. Always had to order it from Meguiars directly. Heres the webpage.

http://www.meguiars.com/product_showroom/showproducts_template.cfm?SrcLine=CP

Your looking for part numbers M-1708 and M-1008. Its a two step process.

I've used this stuff on a couple of my arcylic aquariums to help remove some slight scratches on the outside and it works pretty well.
