Ok, I need some help/ideas for making a box for my system. The box I have now is a complete PoS, and I want this thing to bang. I have 4 12" JL Audio W3's(D2) powered by a Fosgate bd1000.1 Anyone have any pictures of a system setup like this, or ideas about what I should do? Also, how should I do the wiring, whatever I have it as now has to be wrong because people with 2 12's sound louder than mine. Thanks in advance.

there is a link to the subs on this page, its the 12W3-D2, they are dvc

http://www.jlaudio.com/subwoofers/discontinued.html

and this is the amp I have, the power bd 1000.1, its 1000x 1 channel

http://www.rockfordfosgate.com/amplifiers/

i know the whole trunk will be used up, thats fine, and I know it will fit, I have them in now in one of the crappiest boxes ever and they sound horrible. I'm wondering if I should have a 4 chamber box, or what not, and how to angle them to get the most bang possible. Thanks for the response

your gonna need a bigger amp that amp would push only 2 of the subs well

anyways about the subs its just a serial/parallel setup should keep your running close to 4ohms i would suggest getting another amp though

and about the box i would get a custom glass one would be the best. if your going for a box i always like ported boxes because i like the sound of them when there lower but if your going spl then sealed would be the way to go

I thought that generally if you wanted tighter cleaner (sq quality) bass you went with a sealed enclosure.

On the other hand a ported box would give a boomier, louder sound (spl)from your sub/s.

I know there is alot more too this, but i dont really feel like getting into it at the moment, but correct me if im wrong.
