Can you guys tell me where I need to wire some of these things??? 1. door pin (+) and (-). Is this where the little swith where the light comes on/off when the door opens up? the wires for them are red and orange. which one is which? 2. do we have a starter disable output? 3. it says Gray wire to trunk (-) output. is that the wire which sigals if the trunk is open or not? I thought this was a hot (+) wire? not (-). 4. what is Orange wire=ground output when running? is this same as ground? if not, where is this? 5. where/which is the starter wire witch is powered only on cranking position? 6. where/which is the ignition switch wire which is powered by 12V even on cranking? 7. where/which is the ignition swith ACC?
So, what ever that says (-) is the ground wire and (+) is the hot/power wire right? Please help me out!!!!

>1. door pin (+) and (-). Is this where the little swith >where the light comes on/off when the door opens up? the >wires for them are red and orange. which one is which?
those usual point to the solenoids ie. one to negative side one to positive side go to vfaq and look for the wiring colors
>2. do we have a starter disable output?
yes we do just cut the wire going from the ignition to the starter and tap one side to the alarm in and the other to the alarm out thing
>3. it says Gray wire to trunk (-) output. is that the wire >which sigals if the trunk is open or not? I thought this was >a hot (+) wire? not (-).
we dont have any solenoid to pop the trunk unless you buy one
4. what is Orange wire=ground output when running? is this >same as ground? if not, where is this?
dont know what your talking about
>5. where/which is the starter wire witch is powered only on >cranking position? again go to vfaq and look at the wiring colors
>6. where/which is the ignition switch wire which is powered >by 12V even on cranking?
same as above
>7. where/which is the ignition swith ACC? > same as above
>So, what ever that says (-) is the ground wire and (+) is the >hot/power wire right? Please help me out!!!!
some things use a ground to trigger the part meaning it already has + going into it and waiting for the ground to come along then it activates so if it says - just hook it up there
most of the answers youll need is on that wiring chart from vfaq.com >
sorry if its shady i would go give you the whole wiring diagram but im just to damn lazy right now

Hey man, thanks for your reply! but I got few more questions...
> >>1. door pin (+) and (-). Is this where the little swith >>where the light comes on/off when the door opens up? the >>wires for them are red and orange. which one is which? > >those usual point to the solenoids ie. one to negative side >one to positive side go to vfaq and look for the wiring >colors
I couldn't find it in vfaq. Could you give me more detail.
>>3. it says Gray wire to trunk (-) output. is that the wire >>which sigals if the trunk is open or not? I thought this >was >>a hot (+) wire? not (-). > >we dont have any solenoid to pop the trunk unless you buy one
I ment the wire that detects if the trunk is open or not. there is a red w/ silver line on it. I just assumed all DC grounds are black (stock) wires.
>4. what is Orange wire=ground output when running? is this >>same as ground? if not, where is this? > >dont know what your talking about
On those pics, there is an orange wire which says connect to "ground output when running". I couldn't understand what that ment.

>sorry if its shady i would go give you the whole wiring >diagram but im just to damn lazy right now You lazy ass!! J/K. Thanks man, I didn't know that there was a vfaq.com Now I know. let me work on it some more tomorrow...

lol, sorry man! thanks for the link. What/where is "ground output when running"??? I don't understand a bit. and where is the ignition harness located? And is the ignition switch harness and ignition harness the same thing?
I have the same exact alarm system as you do. I just got it so its not hooked up. I think the ground output when running is going to be on the ignition swich harness. What I'm gonna probably end up doing is taking a voltmeter and finding 12 V negative when the key is in the run position. Hope this helps.

I am almost done with my alarm now. But I still have some wireing questions... 1. What is "ground output when running"? 2. What/where is the door pin + and - trigger at? 3. Where is the dome light output? I would appriciate it very much!

I finally got my remote start to work. But I got some questions. There was a white connecter which led to the clutch switch. All I did was unplugged it. Does that do the trick for the clutch switch? Also, I got the window rollup kit with my alarm. Do you guys know how to wire them up?

bump! Anyone have any comments? About the ^^^ white connecter for clutch switch? and the window roll up thing. On the window roll up module, there is a wire called "accessory wire". what do I need to connect this wire to? Also, when I connect a different sensor, can I just tap into my main exterior/interior trigger wires? TIA
