I have a weird problem that just happened... my foglights won't go on anymore... they blow the fuse. Let me go through the background.
I have aftermarket foglights wired into the stock foglight plugs. I also have a jumper wire that goes from the foglight fuse to my tail light fuse so that I can turn on my foglights when the parking lights are on.
I noticed they weren't on last night. Took a look today and a fuse is blown. Okay so I replaced it, pow it blows it when I turn on my parking lights. The funny thing is, my headlight blinks on briefly when the parking lights go on, which I'm thinking there's some short so that it would do that.
I removed the jumper cable, and put it back to stock (ie the foglights can only go on when all the headlights etc is on) It doesn't want to do that.
So I left it at that for now.. checked the plug, one of the plugs to the foglight melted a tiny bit, so I cut it and hardwired it in. Same situation, it will blow that fuse when the lights go on. Now when my alarm is armed the parking lights don't blink. Not sure where to start. I can always hardwire my foglights to the parking light, or wire it with a switch to the parking light, but that's kind of avoiding the issue.

try not hooking up the fogs at all and see if the fuse still blows if not sounds like you put in a aftermarket deck and used the ground from the old one
anyways did you just install a new deck or something

No, I didn't change a thing!
The fuses are fine when the fogs aren't hooked up. I might just wire it in a separate switch, but that still doesn't explain why my alarm doesn't blink the flashers anymore.
It also doesn't explain why when I put the fuses in and wire the fogs, the headlight will blink on momentarily along with the fogs before it blows the fuse to the fogs.
