i want to make a custom box cuz im sick of looking at this big rectangle thing sitting in my hatch so i was wondering if anyone has the dimensions that i would need to make the box. it can take the whole hatch but if anyway to hinge it to get at my spare, btw i 2 12" kicker comps(like large sealed areas) and would like to make a space for my amp. thanks

yeah i want to know too, i have two pioneer premier 12s and need spare access as well. i am thinking of just going ahead and doing the work but if someone else has already done it and can post dimensions why should i sweat?

alright, it might be kind of hard to get 2 12's in the hatch and still have access to your spare tire unless you put one on each side between the wheel well and the back bumper. I was able to make a custom box with 1 12 with an amp rack and still had room for my spare. The amp rack had hinges so it could fold up and i just had to pull it up. If you want a pic of my setup, i can get them for you.

Yeah I am wanting to put a custom install in mine, but i dont want to fork over the cash to have somebody else do it, i have 1 15, so i think it should be fairly simple, and i dont need access to my spare, any help would be much appreciated.
