its a hornet. i plan to add who sirens outside with independent batteries, two inside but they are pain generators.
what does everyone think of glass break sensors? do they actually work?
i don't want my alarm to go off every second some ricer with a loud muffler parks next to me, so will glass break sensors sound off when something loud is near the car?

i have shock sensors and a dual stage proximity sensor. you can adjust your shock to where exhaust wont set it off. as far as proximity sensors (aka motion sensors) they are nice when you wanna keep people away from your car period. if you dont like people near your car turn up the sensitivity, or if you just dont want them stopping by and lookin turn it down to where they have to be right there lookin in the window. glass break sensors listen for the specific sound of breaking glass and are a pretty good investment. id fixin to ditch my alarm and get a better one with glass sensors.

The Hornet 554T is a simple model meant for self-installers. If you are getting a pro shop to do it, I would get a better alarm such as the Viper Responder 790xv aka Matrix RS3.
