#6644, "ANY light-weight pounding system setups?"

I love the bang I have now, but its just two heavy total with 2 Type R 12s and a big ass thick wooden box. I want to get rid of the system because of weight, but I still want to bang, so are there any solutions? Like if I invested into a fiberglass box would that save a ton of weight? Also any like 1 subwoofer setups that bang hard? Like Iono a square 10 with 1 big ass amp? or what? TIA

you prolly need to go through an authorized alpine dealer. just check alpine's site - they should have a listing of dealers in your area. they just hafta order it for you. i think it was in the $400-500 range. and no, i don't think they give you the option of buying just the box.
