I saw the pic of your custom enclosure in another post. I was wondering, if I wanted to do something simple like this, how could I go about doing it? If it's not too difficult to explain over the internet, could you give me a little lesson? I'm sure my friend Josh has all the fiberglass and tools (if that's what it involves...) TIA.
I dont know really how to explain the steps, but if you know how to fiberglass correctly, that setup would be cake to do. Expecially since they use carpet to hide a lot of the system. Your gonna still have a box for your subs and amps and whatever is under where that spare tire thing is or however you lay it out, you just fiberglass the parts you want real nice, take your time, sand, sand, sand, primmer, spray, clearcoat, etc... I would probably take it to a body shop if I was you for the painting, so they can paint match it to your exterior paint color, or whatever you wanted to do. -- Brad Rickard 98 GS HRC Stage V (nuff said)
that's weak. that works for a trunk like a lexus would have but we have hatches aim the subs at the glass. it will not only be louder but more sound will come around and be clearer.
