How exactly do yo hookup ps2 too your car? Specificly run the power to it? I would think you need a invertor or something but just trying to find out how you guys did it?

Get a power inverter from radioshack. Hardwire it with an inline fuse. Now you have your power. For the av you have a couple of options. If the wires that came with the ps2 reach your monitor you can just hook it right up. If they don't reach of if your hooking up to more than one monitor you have to extend and/or splice. Radio shack sells splitters, but I didn't know that when I did my installation. I cut, and spliced the wires. When you cut an av cable there are two wires inside. One is kind of wrapped around the other with a sepparate insulation around the inner wire. Just connect the outer wires and the inner wires individually, but make sure they don't touch each other. For audio you need to get an fm modulator. It plugs inline with your antenna and then you plug the audio cable from the ps2 into it. That should take care of everything.
