alright, you have to get the serial number from the back or the deck and call a mitsu dealer for the code. The only way to get the code is through the dealer. Hope this helps.

nope and if you try the wrong code 3 times it'll lock up an you'll need to unlock it. its not hard to unlock but you have to let your car sit for about an hour with the keys in it.

yes, but dont lock it up. its gay. you have to leave you keys in the ignition in the "ACCESSORY" position for and hour. Check your owners manual for it. Mine was written in there. If thats no good, u gotta get the serial #'s and call the dealer. Dont take it to the dealer, they'll drop you with a huge bill. Goodluck.

*Its a 4 digit code if I remember.

if you still have the little red security car that came with your car, it should have the code on it.

So I have the day off from work today so i figure i mine as well get the numbers for my radio since i did not have the card. I took everything apart got the numbers, took pictures for future reference, put everything back together and call mitsubishi. I get customer service, and i tell them that i need the code and i have the serial number. She then tells me that i need to bring my car down there and have them do it to verify the number, and I would be charged 40 dollars. I tell her that i've all ready taken the radio out and gotten the number and all i need is the code. She then tells me that I still have to bring my car down to verify that i own the car. I tell her that i bought the car from her dealer and that she can look it up. She tells me that won't do and I still have to come down. God I love mitsubishi. Anyone know where i can call and they will just give it to me?

Just tell them you are "your name or make one up" from Best Buy or Circuit City, and you have a customer's car that needs a radio code..If you still cant get it, let me know, i work at a shop and deal with dealerships all the time..
