i figure this probably fits better in this forum than the general so....
yesterday i installed a engine noise filter that takes out the noise that i hear when i rev the engine. at first i thought i needed to put it inline with the radio, after pulling out the radio, i then read the package some more and found that i needed to put it by the crossover which was causing the noise. so anyways, i get it on and it works fine. however, i notice that my capacitor doesnt dislplay anythign on the digital read out like it used to before. i dont think anything of it. so i wake up today and go out to my car, try to unlock with the remote entry, and it doesnt work. strange i thought. i then find that my radio says 'code', i enter the code, and it works fine. but however, my antenna does not go up like it used to. i thoguht maybe i blew a fuse somewhere, but didnt find any blown. i made sure the battery terminal was tied down tight, it was a little loose, but i tightened it up. so i dont know where else to look. those are the only things that i have noticed wrong with it so far after the installation. maybe somehow i snipped a wire putting the radio back in? i dont know? does anyone have any ideas?

sounds to me like either split wire or a loose connection on the radio most likeley your remote wire pull it back out make sure everythings hooked up right

how did you hook it up??? maybe you shorted out the power from the battery to the cap making it just charge and discharge therfore draining your battery and shutting off everything check the charge on your battery or your deck and check if the cap is holding a charge let me know what happens
