i have one of those OOOGA horns. its motor driven and its a 2 terminal connection. How do i install it? Where exactly is the factory horn? is there a way to wire it to a seperate button? any help would be appreciated

one question: is this horn meant to take place of the factory one, so that when you depress the stock horn button this one is activated? or is there a seperate control modual placed inside the cabin that is independent of the stock horn? its relativly easy either way, but before typing a doctoral thesis here i need to know what it is.

i think he's asking how YOU want to do it. you can wire it up either way. if you wanna keep your stocker you could and jsut add an extra switch for this new one.

ill get back to this either tomorrow (have to write a 10 page paper) or friday. ill check out the wires for the horn as well as the mounting location. it will be much MUCH easier to simply replace the factory horn with the aftermarket one. id look up the wire colors in the chiltons manual, but i cant seem to find it now (NOT GOOD!!), so ill have to check it out personally.

the stock horn is one the passenger side under the headlight. you can see it easily if you take off the front bumper. or that's where it is one mine anyways. i dunno what kinda output the stock horn is wired for so i dunno if you'd need to relay anything. i know people had problems wiring up those air horn type things. for my alarm they hooked up the horn along with a siren but they just tapped into the fuse box to trigger the horn from what i can tell. -marc
