This is a helpful link that may help you with some of your problems... or maybe not!! emoji

And this one is good also, granted it refers to home radio reception, but the concept is the same!

I get bad reception also, but I think it's from the water which leaks into my hatch area which I found out comes through the antenna and over some electrical stuff which can't be good emoji

What kind of radio do you have? If it's an aftermarket, check to see if you accidentally turned "Local" on. Also, check to see if your antenna is loose (screwed in all the way), if it isn't powered, and check behind the head unit to see if the antenna cable came out of the radio. Check your radio ground too, that could be the cause of bad reception.

well like two days later i was going through everything. i took out my headunit (eclipse cd player/tuner) and checked everything. still nothing. so i checked the antenna and all was good there. but get this, i gave up on it and washed the car, then went out for a drive to get the water off before i dry it, and when i went for that drive, i noticed everything was fine. it's been fine ever since so no worrie emoji
