#5726, "fuel pump off switch wire to window lock"

i was thinking about this the other day. you know that window lock (prevents a passenger from opening or closing the passenger's window) next to the power door locks in the drivers door.

is it possible to wire a fuel pump on/off switch into the widow lock switch. what do you all think? that'd be soo stealth.

thats a really good idea in theory, but given the number of times ive accidentally hit the switch while driving it might not be a good idea. of course, you could run a relay off of an accesory wire to only let the switch be effective when the car is off, that way you wouldnt have to worry about the car shuting down in the middle of traffic. hmmm...., im going to research this some more.

:shhh: i do cocaine :/shhh:

Hey!!

Anyone read or make anymore progress on this idea?? Its a great idea and if someone found out how to work it out, I'd def. be in...I would try to figure it out myself, but i'm such a newb that I would break something important, such as the fuel pump itself...

Lets start refreshing this idea!!

HAha

No. Got to lazy to put the fp switch at the window (I'd have to disassemble my windown), but I do have a fp kill switch rigged up somewhere in my car (it's a secret ) emoji Easy stuff to do too. All it takes was a high out put switch, then some wires, redid my fuel pump, and tadaaaa.... A theif can't take my car now.

you could have always rigged up the starter wire to where the lock switch had to be depressed in order for the car to start....that way youd not have to worry about killing your FP going down the road emoji

haha i'd laugh if in the process of breaking into your car the guy accidently hit the button and turned the fuel pump on anyway emoji

just hook up the 12V wire to a switch imo

Cig lighter = Even more stealth. You could probably rig up a relay that would lock open after pressing the cig lighter in. If the car does not start by the time it heats up and pops out it would turn it back off. muahhah emoji

Having Problems? Heres my Three step solution to anything 2gnt related.
Step 1: Put down everything in your hands.
Step 2: Grab a lucky strike, Smoke it.
Step 3: Walk to the fridge, double fist some keystone ice, sit down in the shade, drink one beer, finish cigarette, drink other beer, roll a joint, smoke it, walk back to your problem, and in about 5 minutes the solution will come to you.
If not. Go here: here

If still nothing, your trying to hard. Start over at step 1.

Also, a great idea would be using the ac switch (the circle one with the green light) as a fuel pump off switch. I was thinking about that today while driving to work. emoji
