I was wondering..

I have a laptop.. and I busted the screen. I want to put this in my car.

I was looking for small VGA monitors, but they do not have them. I was wondering if there was sometype of adapter that could convert VGA output (from the laptop) so it can work on the LCD screen (RGB?).

Thanks

~Tacoman

they went out of buisness about 1.5 years ago, but for a while they were the shit. the history of in car computers goes 1) clarions autopc (2) q-pc (3) lots of other companies like q-pc almost directly afterward (hence the reason they went out of buisiness). this of course does not include home-brewed stuff, just production stuff.

its a 500mhz/64mb machine that is, basically, a computer, but modified for abuse in a car. it does dvd/mp3/etc...etc..etc... and has a 6.4" fold out screen. runs window (might change that to BeOS though, if that OS is still around). original cost: 2000+ dollars, my cost: 0 dollars, being "in" with the director of advertising for the company: priceless.
