#5619, "window sticker antenna"

My mom's minivan has this sticker antenna across the front of the winshield as the only antenna and it gets good reception. Has anyone seen these before. It looks like a tinted window banner, but if you look close you can see wires running through it. I think I might put one of these on my hatch glass and shave my antenna; that way I will have a completely clean hatch (no wiper, spoiler, or antenna). Does anyone know where I could get one of these antennas? I might call the pontiac dealer and find out how much they charge for a factory replacement.

Metra makes an antenna for guys who shave their antennas called a 44UA20. I sell if at Circuit City and have had mixed results with it. In some cars, it works great, but some struggle.

It is an amplified antenna, so it will help with the signal strength. This particular piece can be hid in the vehicle.

Good luck to ya!!!

The GS and up model has this. The antenna is integrated into the rear window glass, above the defogger. it fdoesn't use it exclusively, bt alternates between the mast antenna and the "diverity" antenna to achieve the best signal.

My mast antenna line was torn apart ina vehicle breakin a year and a half ago, so i just removed the mast antenna and ran the diversity antenna to my reciever.. works like a charm.
