This is probably a dumb question, but how do i install a 1" tweeter in a 2" space? do i need a braket or can i just attach them to the 2" bracket??

are you talking about putting a 1" tweet into a 2" hole, or a 2" piece of material? i assume you mean a hole, in which case youll need to either fabricate a bracket or fill the hole somehow and re-drill a new one. if youll say where your trying to install it, we might be able to help you out on designing somthing. emoji

I just traced the stock speakers on to pressed board then rounded the edges, cut out the middle for the tweeter, and painted it black. They fit pretty tight.

I am trying to install 1" tweeters in the 2 inch hole and was wondering how everyone does it? Or what i can do to make it work?

I installed mine by taking the stock tweets cutting the speaker out of the bracket they are in and then used a hot glue gun and put the new ones in the bracket. put the stock bracket with the new tweets back and voila. I got pics if you want to see but someone will need to host them for me
