I had a system in my car and the other day i was driving and i had to slam on the breaks to not hit a dear. well when i did that my system stopped working. i think i blew my amp, but thats not the problem. i disconnected my system and everything but my radio doesnt work properly. i turn it on theres this loud humming noises coming from my speakers with just a little music. what could be the problem? my friend said i might have either blew the fuse in the radio, or my radio just blew up. any help would be appreciated. i can stand to not have bumps for a while but i need my music! TIA

that sucks. its not a blown fuse, if that had happened the headunit wouldnt have turned on at all. it sounds like either the headunit is bad or theres a wiring issue that needs to be addressed. pull the headunit out and make sure the wires look ok, the ground wire is still connected, etc.
