Between 12" subs and 12" subs that are 2ohm. Sorry I'm an idiot when it comes to this stuff. Tell me like I'm 4 years old. TIA

the difference is just the ohm load. it gives you more options when wiring your system. most subs are single 4 ohm. your amp will not be able to send as much power to the sub as it would if it were a single 2 ohm voice coil. are you only looking at single voice coil subs or dual? make sure your amp is 2 ohm stable (most are).
