Are you sure you have the right ignition wire? The yellow wire of the DEI system should connect to the black/white of the car's igniton harness. Do you have a starter kill relay hooked up? Is that connected properly? The alarm's yellow wire goes through that relay, so double check that, if you have that connected. Double check all your wires, something isnt right. If the siren isnt chirping, check the red LED light that plugs into the brain. If its on solid, then its in "valet" mode. To get out of that, turn the key to run, then to off, then push in and release the black push button that comes with the alarm. The LED should go out. This will ONLY work if the yellow wire is hooked to a switched power source. Another way to get into and out of valet mode, is to have the driver door opened, then push button 1, then 2, then 1. (or if you have a 4 buttion transmitter- arm, disarm, then arm).
