Hey, I don't frequent this part of the boards much so forgive me if i sound like a noob.

Does anyone here have an Eclipse system in thier car? Just that the whole idea of driving an eclipse with an eclipse head unit, speakers, amps, subs and stuff sounds cool to me. Is eclipse a preety good brand? I might end up getting it just for the name, but wanted some additional input....

I have an Eclipse half DIN EQ under the deck, and a 15" aluminum cone sub in the hatch. Eclipse is damn good stuff, and I have never had any probs or anything with it. I have pushed almost 2000 watts of power to the 15", and it doesnt break a sweat. IMO, there are still a bit better sounding coaxes, and tweeters out there, but still, they sound damn good to me. I used to have two of those 15"s in my old grand prix. I DB dragraced with them, and hit over 150 db's with them. Thats plenty loud for me. Eclipse is good stuff no doubt.

My whole system is Eclipse. I have had no problems (except the price) and it sounds great. Email me if you would like some pics.

I gave up my Alpine dead head for an Eclipse dead head. I love my eclipse deck. I also have a pair of their aluminum dvc subs. They are clean and loud.
I reccomend eclipse all around, they are an awesome brand.
