I have a 98 Eclipse with a stock radio. I had all the doors open and the alarm started freaking out on me. Every time I start it it chirps 3 times and locks and unlocks the door. When I turn on the heater it also chirps. Any idea why?

Last night I took of the back panel looking for the box for the factory alarm and I couldn't find one. How do I know if it is a factory alarm or not. Now my remote doesn't work either. I can't find a reset button or a programming button anywhere. The only thing I can find is a little box on the steering column that says sensor on it. I need help, any suggestions to fix this would be appreciated.

What kind of alarm is it, who installed it, give us details man.

I bought the car used, and it was already installed in it. I can't find anything with the brand of the alarm anywhere. The sensor box on the steering column is the only thing that has anything on it:

Is there somewhere else to look for the brand of the alarm? I think it is factory but I can't find the box that everyone has been talking about.
