Personally, I'm a name-brand kind of guy. I've installed 68 square feet of dynamat into my Talon. I swear by the product, however, the last package of sound suppression I used was from Tsunami. In my opinion, it is actually a nicer product.

I've heard of people that use gutter tape and other "imitation" products, but most are not as happy. Bite the bullet and get dynamat or Tsunami products. You'll be much happier in the end.

Just my $0.02 worth!

dynamat is the best out there, that i have found so far anyway. my car is full of dynamat extreme. if your trying to kill road noise, the best spot i have found to cover was around your rear speakers, try going to wal mart and buying some of that poly fill stuff (like 2 dollars a bag) buy about 6 bags of it, cram the holes back there full of it, then throw on a layer of dynamat extreme. hope that helps.
