I have two questions for all of you audio peepz. I have (2) 10" Alpine Type Rs -4ohm- They are DVC. 300rms 1000 max. What is the best amp for the lowest price range that would power these? Also, I am trying to teach myself how to work with fiberglass. How would I go about fiberglassing the "spare tire" well and build up the sides to mdf and make that the bottom of a box. I want to use this area so I can get some more air space to set the top of the box farther down in the trunk. Any input on this would be extremely helpful I am currently working on speaker baffles where all of the stock speakers go so I can make them air tight.

as far as amps go, just get the best you can afford....remember you can never have TOO big an amp, you might decide to upgrade subs at some point, and you get better headroom and less clipping with the gains turned down.
as as the box goes, audiophyl from this forum has done just what you are talking about, and im sure hell post here w/ a link to his website on www.cardomain.com .
BTW...im gald to hear youre selaing up this speakers, a lot of people dont realize what i difference it can make!

Thanks for the input By the way I screwed up my molds just a little while ago.....I am making them with the expanding foam and aluminum foil so then I can just "paint" the fiberglass right over the mold. I was too anxious and pulled the mold out too soon and messed the back of it up. Will try again tomorrow.
