Really depends on your goal and spending limit. If you are just going to replace the speakers and run them off of your stock deck than really anything would be better than stock. Just go to Best Buy or Circuit City and see what sounds good to you.

If you are planning on getting an external amp and have alot of money to spend then look at Focal or MB Quarts. These are some of the best sounding speakers as far as components are concerned IMO but they are expensive also.

Less expensive but still sound really nice are the Alpine Type R speakers like I have. I am really happy with them.

Like I said it really depends on what your goal is.

Get some polk ex components for the front and coaxials for the rear (6.5 or 6X9 depending on what you have)

One thing I forgot. You'll want to take your door panel and look a the back. There's a ring around the speaker grille on the inside. If you get nicer speakers their excursion will hit this ring. Grind that bitch off...it will save you thinking your speakers are blown.

I got JL audio evolutions in my doors. These things are nice and would be even better on an amp. Titanium tweeter, etc. They are identical to a set that MB quart makes.
