might be to late (i noticed biddibg has ended), but yes, eclipses are 12volt negative ground vehicals. some older cars are positive ground (meaning the positive wire of the battery runs to the frame and all posotive connections for accesories like lights, radio, etc. are connected to the frame/chassis as well), or 6 volt sysatems, but im pretty sure no car produced since the late 50s has been anyhting but 12volt positive ground (except for the newer concept cars that are 48 volts).

nope, the hummers are 12 volts ... or at least the older one were, im not sure about the new "H2" ones or the military ones. they may be different.
