i don't know if it's already been done in here but i found some good tweeters to replace the dash speakers up by the windshield. radio shack has these bubble packed 50w tweeters that fit perfectly into the gutted stock speaker housing....pretty sure there's only one set of 50w rms tweets at radio shack so they're easy to find. it sounds a lot better than the "stock, one working/one dead" setup i had before. so if you need new dash speakers for 15 bucks go to RADIO SHACK.

im pretty sure ANYTHING sounds better than the stock tweets. i had them in for one day after i bought the car and thats all i could stand

good advise for people with blown speakers on a budget. im sure satan would charge a few thousand bucks for repacements

agh, i knew as soon as i threw the package away i'd need the # off of it.....it was something like (40-1415)....that's most likely not it. it should be easy to find em though, just look for a bubble-packed set that says 50watt rms 100watt peak. i'll try to get some pictures up tomorrow in case someone needs to see how to gut the stockers.
