Hey guys im using my friends stock GSX 2 din radio and i dont know the code its asking for........i tried 3 times now it just says off.....what should i do

You need to get the little red card from your friend. It will have the code to unlock the stereo. Should be with all the paperwork and crap that was in the glove box. If he doesn't have the card. Pull the serial # of the radio deck and call the dealer. They will be able to find the code for you. Some might charge you to look it up, some might not. Depends on the dealer and the mood they are in at the time...

to get the radio out of the mode where it says "off", you have to turn the car on to "acc" and let it sit there for an hour. after that the radio will reset. i had the same problem. i had to call the dealership and they told me what to do. then you just put the code in.

The code might be inside the clove box on a sticker or it might be in the trunk on a sticker. It will have the letters RC then 4 different numbers thats your code. That was where mine was when I had to do mine one time.
