#4009, "ATTN: Who had that LCD screen?"

I want to find the person that had that LCD screen in their car. It was a computer that was bought of of ebay, but was the size of a large lcd screen. They said they had to buy a 20 gig laptop hard drive for it tho. Seems like they posted pics of it and it sat more towards the middle facing the passenger side. In their pics it showed them playin mp3's.... WHO WAS THIS??? i want to know what that LCD was called. It was just a computer/screen....Please help, i want one emoji

Having Problems? Heres my Three step solution to anything 2gnt related.
Step 1: Put down everything in your hands.
Step 2: Grab a lucky strike, Smoke it.
Step 3: Walk to the fridge, double fist some keystone ice, sit down in the shade, drink one beer, finish cigarette, drink other beer, roll a joint, smoke it, walk back to your problem, and in about 5 minutes the solution will come to you.
If not. Go here: here

If still nothing, your trying to hard. Start over at step 1.

I remember what your talking about, but I don't know who it was that had that. I'm pretty sure it was in a white car though and I think the computer was a gateway. It looked phat as hell though. Thats all I really remember about it.

Xeras..
Would you be able to hook up an OBD II or Data Logger to these GTCs?
Does it drain alot of power from your car when having this?
Can you give some dimensions of the actual housing?
Some dimensions of the screen?

Some specs..
Such as does it have an internal hard drive? How many Mhz or Ghz? Memory?

Thanks

~Tacoman

Please PM too if you can.

how does the OBDII hook up? thats the only drawback to the gctp, because the only way for input is through its 2 USB ports. i'm sure you can use a serial to usb converter if need be.

>Does it drain alot of power from your car when having this?
nah, i dont notice any drain at all.

>Can you give some dimensions of the actual housing?
i'll post the specs of it later, i dont have it infront of me, nor do i have a ruler. guestimating, i'd say its about 12" x 8"

>Some dimensions of the screen?
maybe 8"??? not really sure on this one

yes, it has an internal hd that i had to add to it. its a standard laptop hd, 9.5mm 20gb
processor wise, it has a transmeta crusuoe 400mhz. its not a speed demon, but it gets the job done. its a lot faster with more ram. standard ram is 96 mb 64+32 shared. it is expandable as well. i put in a 256mb chip and noticed a nice increase in the responsiveness of the OS.
