I have 2 12' subs and my box constantly slides around. I have velcro on the trunk mat and the box, but it still slides around. I was just wondering if there is anything that stops the box from movingg.

screw some braces into the floor board. i dont think your gonna find anything else that will hold it. for example, you could take 4 pieces of wood and cut them into L's. Then put one on each corner.

Good idea but use back strapping. If you don't know what that is just go to a Circuit City shop and ask them to buy some...we usually have enough to build a tank laying around. It's a half inch wide piece of metal about 6-7"s long with holes drilled every 3/4" or so. Take that, cut it in half, bend the two halfs at a 90 degree angle and screw them down....if you do it so that the bottom (part that's being screwed into the car) is facing toward your box you can then lay your box on top of them and screw the straps to your box...this helps to hide them more. If they are facing away from the box then you will see them more.

For a cheap fix: Use spray adhesive and glue the carpet to the spare tire cover. That way the velcro will still hold the box and the carpet wont slide around. Just a thought!
