I work at Best Buy and got some good deals on these parts. I had them installed a while back and the system has never sounded that good. I don't know if Cerwin Vega just doesn't like to work with Rockford or what, but the speakers really sux. I'm thinkin' about replacing the Speakers with Rockfords. I would do better, but that's what we sell at Best Buy. Any suggestions or comments on why it doesn't sound that good??

Well, the bass is really bad, but I wasn't expecting too much without a sub. But there just seems to be some distortion when the volumn is less then half the way up. Now it gets pretty loud, but not without a bit of distortion. Also, the front left speaker cuts out some times. I think that's just bad wiring. But do you know of anything that can keep the distortion down??

well, the speakers aren't really made for any kinda of bass (midbass if any at all).. and im pretty sure that rockfords are quality amps.. the distortion may be caused sending too low frequencies to the speakers. maybe you should try and play with the crossovers in the amp to filter out the lower frequencies. you will lose the small amount of bass that you have now, but it should scream nice and loud... and then you will be ready to get an 18" in your ride... haha.. hope it works out

ALl your parts seem to be good. Cerwin Vega are pretty good. Rockford makes some of the best amps? How many watts is that 4 channel amp? Mayvbe you are not getting enough power to each sub, and need to get two, 2-channel amps instead?
