#3211, "Just bought a lcd screen quick question?!?!?!?"
I just got a Panasonic CY-VMC7000u In-Dash Monitor/CD Player and it says that the screen will only work when the e-brake is on i was wondering if anyone had or knows how to wire it so that the brake does not have to be on. TIA Joe

well you basically have to wire up the switch to a wire on the indash screen. They want you to do it like this to avoid watchin it while driving. But all you have to do is either ground that wire, or send it a positive signal, wich ever it takes on the unit. I dont advise watching the screen while driving either

You've probably figured it out by now but on my Panasonic DVD all you have to do is ground the E-brake wire. Alpines are a little more complicated and require a toggle switch.
