Where is there a hole in the fire wall for the amp power wire to go through in a 96 eclpse GS. I would like to install it myself to save money. Please HELP!!!

I don't know if the firewall config is the same as a '99 but if it is there should be a hole already there. It should be under the driver side dash somewhere, but it may be VERY hard to squeeze an amp wire through with the rest of the wires that are already in there. I am not sure what size guage you are using for power but I would just drill another one. A good place to drill a new hole (at least on a '99) is if you are looking at the engine bay (from the front of the car), is in the back right corner behind the battery. Just drill a hole big enough for the ga. wire you are using and get a grommit to make sure the wire doesn't slice on the sharp metal. Just make sure before you drill that there is nothing you are going to drill into on the other side. Hope that helps a little. Later
