Hey guys...

Well, looks like my entire right side set of speakers are blown. They are all muffled and fuzzy sounding now. I know the door speaker is...I'm pretty sure the rear seat speaker is...and I'm not sure about the front right tweeter.(i think it's a tweeter on the dash, right?)

Ok, well anyway...what's the best thing to do... I want to get them fixed/replaced so that I won't have that muffled sound coming out incase I want to sell this car asap. Does anyone have some options for an inexpensive way to do this?

On to option two...

If I decided to keep my car, what would be the best replacement set for my money? I am sort of deaf(sp?) right now from being in a band for five years, so I like to crank my music loud with the windows down going 70. I want speakers that can stand that level of output as the normal daily drive and won't blow from it.

I'm sorry, I really have no idea about this audio stuff in cars.

You didn't say if they were stock or aftermarket speakers. Assuming they are stock my guess would be that the paper cones finally just wore out. Best bet would be to replace them with some good aftermarket speakers. The choice is really up to you since they vary in price. Go to an audio store and listen to some. Then find the ones you like and like the price on. This is assuming you want to keep the car..

If you just want to clear up the sounds to get ready and sell the car. Just get some cheapy speakers Jensen, etc.. Chances are they won't last long but the car should be long out of your possesion by the time they do go...

If I were to keep it...what would be the best bargain for aftermarkets.... like best speaker for your dollar I guess is what I'm asking.(I would have to replace tweeter, door, and rear speakers) Oh yeah, if any of you have estimates on price ranges...shoot 'em my way please if you don't mind...I'm totally clueless.
