it is a Whistler, model...I can't remember right now...is there anyway that this can be done?...it has the cig. lighter plug on it, but is there a way to hook it up, so that it turns on when I have the radio on (for instance...the radio is always on with the car ), like hardwire it to the radio power or something like that...
TIA!!!

just wire it into any of the acc. wires that turns on only when the key is set to the ac options. or if you really want to use the stereo option, use its power wire ( not the constant one) or its remote turn on wire ( this way it will turn on only when the radio is on).

I think I'll be a little on the safe side and use the same amp fuse that is used in the plug...should this be good enough? Hopefully I can get this done this weekend...
