I am unstalling a new head unit into my eclipse...simple proccess, got the harness....wired it up....but then comes along a grey plug that is smaller...but similar to the power antenna wire....where does it plug into and why doesnt the stock head unit work without it in?? What does this wire do?!?!?

it's probably for the diveristy antena in the rear hatch glass.

I can't think of any reason the head unit wouldn't work without it plugged in. Check your wiring again. Where did you ground the head unit?

Shoot...now that you mention it I didnt ground it....thou without it plugged into the stock headunit the SHU wouldnt recieve ANY power!
