just wondering if any of you know whether or not you need the stock deck to use the stock infinity amp.. i assume you don't have to but someone just told me that you might need the deck.. anyone know?

dont need it. its an amp just like any other amp except for the wiriing harness. thats not universal. im guessing you wanna use that amp with an after market deck? youll have to find an adapter. good luck. or you cut the wires and splice them accordingly. a wiring diagram will tell you whats what. i used to have one but no longer do. ill try to find it. what i did is splice into the input of the amp to go to another amp which powers my sub. sounds home made (and it is) but it works just fine.
