Finally finished installing my twin amps Pair of Jensons. However, I'm having problems trying to pass the speaker wire thru the front door grommets. On the front driver's side there is a bunch of wires that are in the way i'm afraid i might brake it. i've tried using a piece of wire to fish the speaker wire without success. Any body who installed their own system found an easier way to run a larger speaker wire? The factory wiring is damn small it's like a 24g.

For now i' spliced to the factory and damn i thought my pioneer deck was loud. with the amps installed the music is Way lot cleaner,clarity is impressive and the staging well damn. I'm running 75rmsx4, 150rms x1. RCA -- rockfort fosgate twists, 4g wiring split to 8 gauge, all components(amps/cd player) to common ground to back seat bolt.

If you take off the lower dash paneling you should be able to see that it is a factory wiring plug blocking the hole. You can unscrew it and move it aside then you should have the extra room you need. That is what I did on both sides. I found that it was easier than trying to work around it. Maybe it was when I had my dash off that I could get to it, I dunno, but that plug is the problem. Good luck.

Hey Thanks I'll give it a try...

be alot easier just to drop em back from in behind the head unit, the small speaker wire that goes to your speakers will run 100Watts easily, there's no real need to go thru the grommet unless you just wanna cuss at something for about an hour
