Hey all, i just bought a 99 eclipse rs, and i was wondering how to take the stock head unit out, and if ill need to buy a harness or kit or anything or if i can just put in head unit as is. Thanks for the info.

I just changed mine the other weekend. It's very easy to do. You just have to take off the center console, and the plastic around the gaugaes. I have a writeup from Crutchfield that I can scna for you if you want that shows you everything step by step. Just e-mail me. markjavier@hotmail.com

you have to pull the whole console out to remove the radio, its not hard like 6 screws and yes you need a harness but no dash kit:)
