I just wanna know what you guys think would be a good system, I'm not looking for a competetion set or anything. I want something thats gonna be clear and loud, and I want some bass, but not just thumping so you can't hear the actually music. What kind of equipment would you guys suggest?

Im not a car audio expert but I would say, if your not looking for competition, and if you wanna keep if fairly inexpensive, go MTX, best bang for your buck.

I have had a really GREAT experience with Cadence Audio, Cheap priced. but with proper imaging & install, possible to win Competitions I had the 5 1/4 Components. they were awsome, But I switched to Audiobahn 6 1/2 Components. Or another one would be JBL. Cructhfield.com could show you the way to a system.

MODS:
-Aircan Mod-
-Silencer removed-
-Blocked of EGR-
-Hose kit-
-WireLoom Kit-
-Short Shifter Mod-
-AudioBahn Audio System-

COMING SOON:
-8-8.5mm Ignition Wires-
-Injen Cold Air Intake-
-50-75shot Nitrous Fogger System-

As far as price goes, you can't do much better than Fosgate for the "bang for your buck" Their amps and subs are real good and don't cost too much. If you want a little more quality, go with Alpine (deck), JL (subs), Phoenix Gold(amps), or Precision Power (subs).

Mods:
Alpine CD Deck w/ 6d Changer|2 10" C2 Precision Power Subs|Fosgate 360a2 Amp
Bosch Platinum +4 Plugs|K&N Drop-in Air Cleaner

The system I have now produces very clear sound with highs that could make your ears bleed. As stated in my sig, I have Pioneer 6.5" 3 ways in the rear, and as of yesterday I upgraded my door speakers. I got Pioneer 5.25" 2 ways for 60$ from PC Richards (a local store). The combination of these speakers give extremely clear sound in fields like Classical and Soft Rock, and when you put on Rock or Metal they only do better. As far as rap and other music with bass, these speakers along with most will not put out thumping bass. For that get a sub or 2 in the hatch. JL makes great subs and im looking in them now.
