yeah alpine makes ok subs but there is better man.what are you going for sq or spl.an how much are you willing to spend.i will the try an tell you the best sub for you man

I like them, although I need more power... they can handle 1000W and have pretty good excursion. The 2002 models have a shinier silver/aluminum look to the cone.

check out Boston Acoustics subs.....100% badass IMO, I'm running 2 12 inch Kicker comp VR's and they knock the hell outta me w/only 726 watts rms, it's all in the box baby!
