alright i picked up the little cuby hole for the stock single din deck. Now, how in the hell does this work. I was assuming the single din unit had its built in mounting plate like the double din and then the cuby hole would mount with the dash kit for my aftermarket deck. WRONG. it doesn't fit and i would have to cut a lot of the dash kit away for this thing to even come close to fit.

Hmm, you shouldn't have needed a dash kit in the first place. The radio and cuby hole should mount directly to the metal bracket.

i had the double din. i'll take a look at it and see if the mounting comes off.

got it figured out. the stock mounting hardware for the double din fits the single
