I got a new Aiwa deck and installed it. It would have been hella easier if I could have taken the center console out. How do u take it out?

'97 Eclipse

Shouldn't ne any different than my '96 talon. There are 2 screws by the bottom of the back end of it, so you have to slide the seats forward to get them. You pop off te cover for the HVAC, and you'll see 2 screws where the console connects to there. In between there I think are 1 or 2 in the center area around the little storage bin. It's not as hard as you may think.

you nailed it....also, pull your shifter knob off(5sp) and that'll make it easier for you.
