ok i have two head units one is a panasonic va707weuc (the one with the 7 inch monitor and am fm tuner but no cd player)i installed that one earlier in the week and it worked fine. i didn't have a harness so i cut and spliced into original wiring. i got the second hu earlier today a sony cdx-ca750x and i decided to insatall that one as well because want to listen to cds. i wired it in to where i cut and spliced the panasonics wiring. first thing i noticed is that i seem to be draining too much power as soon as i turned the sony on my dome lights started to dim when i turned on the tunes the sound came out distorted and if i turned the radio on the unit would cut off and come back on. my question is how would i be able to use both these hu at the same time.

Ok, you ready?

Take the sony and re wire it, put the red to the on power, yellow to constant, and ground. Make sure all the wires are seperate from the other headunit, the using the preouts on the sony, take them and runthem into the back of the other and that should do it. I think?

first i would worry about the power drop.try running a new power line rightfrom the bat.but don't keep it there cuz running straight from there willmake it always on.i just want you to test to make sure you need to replace the stock power wirewith a bigger one.it is a pain to do so it is best to make sure it is really needed first

i might be drunk right now so that is why imisspelled shit.or i just can't spell
