Xtreme why do you have 2 1100D amps? isnt one just enuff? and the smaller amp is going to your component speakers right? Who made your setup?

I have both amps bridged together running the sub. Each amp is putting out its 2 ohm rated power of 750 watts each, so my sub is seeing aprox 1500 watts RMS. And the amp in front of the sub is driving my fronts and rears. All the custom work is all my own emoji

My subs sound excellent facing up... I wouldn't change a thing about it. As far as enclosure dimensions... it depends on the subs you're using. If your using the Sony Xplod ES "bottlecap series" like I am, then I can give you some good box dimensions. If you're using the regular Sony line, then it'll be completely different.

regular sony xplodes. the box they are in now is one of those that has them facing eachother, with plexiglass in the middle of the box to see them. they sound pretty tho, for me anyway im mostly interested in the sound inside the car. im pretty good with wood but i dont know much about designing the box, dimensions, where to port, all that stuff. any help would be great. is there a web site for this?

The box is done, but the sub amp "rack" is temporary, I'm still working out the kinks in the idea
