I'm partially done now... I dynamatted the hatch to hell and the floor and enclosures are done. Next steps are vinyl installation, electrical wiring, tuning. What do you think so far?

4 sq. ft. of Dynamat Extreme costed $30 -

3 sheets of this from McMaster for $40! -

I lined the entire hatch area -

Taped off the air vent -

Stuffed the spare tire well with pillows. (not picture: I also used fiberglass insulation with sound dampening properies in the tire well and behind panels.)

Enclosure/false floor in its infancy -

left view (Stinger cap & RF distribution) -

right view (MB Quart crossovers & Sony Unilink TV Tuner/Video Input)

I'm glad it's almost done... I'm tired of rollin around with no system or interior! I'm applying the vinyl now so hopefully everything will be installed tonight then tomorrow I'll wire it up. All I need is an LCD so I can see my TV, DVD and VCR video!

I'll post more pics in a couple of hours.

That looks great. Do you have a better picture of the speaker box? I'm curious to see how large it is.

Yeah I'm still going to use the hatch cover until I get tinted, but the bass makes it come loose and shit. We'll all have to get together soon. I just need to put my car back together...

Nice job, looks awesome. My question is do you get a good bass response? I had my 2-jl 12's before in a box facing up and the bass didnt sound right. I then made a new box with the speakers facing the back and its 3 times louder. Just curious as to what it sounds like.....thanks

Actually, with the hatch cover installed and the back seats up it's not as loud. But with the hatch cover off OR the back seat down, it sounds great. I have no rattles at all and the bass response if great!

Im so happy I saw Dougs car in person last night. Man he is to modest...his system sounds as nice as it looks, and that neon light looks tight as hell when lite up, it just lights up the whole back. His shiet BANGS!!! I could hear him from far far away like across the mall parkin lot. If anybody has a chance (Cucumber) go see his system. MAD PROPS to ya Doug.
