#2205, "Rear view mirror conflict with my system"

Hello everyone, I have a problem with my sound system and my eclipse.....Sound is awesome, but when the bass hits my rear-view mirror goes down. I know there are people out there with better systems, so how do you guys avoid that???? Thanks!!!!

It goes down? What do you mean? Mine vibrates but I never had it fall. Maybe you can tighten some screw... I don't know.

most rear view mirrors in any car have that problem. its a sign of a good system. its your cars way of thanking you for giving it that kick ass boom!! enjoy it! (besides if your driving fast enough you wont need to know whats going on behind you anyway!)

thanks for the replies guys.....Kinda bummed that I can't do anything about it.....But Johnny you are cool. My eclipse thanks me all the time based on the mirror theory. Unfortunately my car is too slow to not have to use my rear-view.....eventually I'll get there......Thanks guys.

dude, go get some silicone from wal mart, you may have some left over from sealing your system up, it may look like hell, but silicone up under the rear view next to the arm that connects it to the windshield.
