I have just ordered a new head unit from Crutchfield, and according to them it is about .14" too long... I'm going to try to make it fit anyway, so I was wondering if anyone else has had to bend or move anything around in there to get a HU to fit. Mine is the new eXcelon Z828.

If I remember correctly, Crutchfield was WAY off on that depth measurement. I'm pretty sure it's a lot deeper than what they say. I wouldn't worry too much. It's nothing major back there anyway. It can be made to fit w/o too much trouble if it doesn't.

I wouldn't worry about it. According to Crutchfield, my deck is also too long (sony cdx m770). It fits fine. Also like the last post said, there really isn't anything significant back there anyways.
