ok, i am considering buying this monitor: but i need to seperate teh monitor from teh swivel base and mount them in seperate places in order to fit it where i am puttin git. is there anyone here who does installs or is familiar enough with these things (or knows someone who they can refer here) who can tell me what type of wires i would find connecting the monitor to the base? if its just 3 wires (audio and video) i will unscrew the monitor, snip the wires, add some extra wire length to them, shave off the stumps where it mounts to the base and rewire it together. but if i take it apart and its connected to the base with some freaky type of tab connector (like a laptop uses to connect the screen to the computer) i would be screwed. so can anyone help me?

it all depends on were the video controller is...the lcd does use a ribbon for the connection, but you would extend that if you really wanted to (just would be a lot of wires)... it possible, and you would not be screwed...hit me up on aim if you have any other questions, later

im told that if you put them in the visor and a cop pulls you over... for seeing the light you can just easliy flip up the visor so i would either put one in each visor or i would put it in my head unit
