check to see if there are small tweeter speakers up on the dash.. if there are speakers there it probably had the infiniti system in it.. oh.. also is there a small pocket under your stereo.. or it is some sort of plastic face there hiding the empty spot. reason is because mine had the infinity system and it had used a double din unit and had no pocket so when they put in my single din radio they used some sort of kit with a lower plastic face to hide the empty spot below.

Look under your seat, and if you had an infinity system there will be a little amp under there. My car has the dash speakers and doesnt have the infinity system.

so only the infinity system came with the double din? about the amp, is that under the driver's seat? plus, i'm the third owner, so one of them could have taken that amp out. any other ways of determining guys?

I have a double din deck and it's the stock, non-infinity system. The only way I can think of checking is if there is an amp under the seat. I don't think anybody would take that out. If the amp has been taking out, it doesn't really matter if it ever was an infinity system or not. I don't matter.

only other way would be to check the speakers themselves.. by takeing them out and checking them for the words infinity.. i believe it will be on the back of teh speaker on the magnet.. unless the speakers were replaced.. then it dont matter i would imagine whether or not it had the infinity system or not.. maybe even getting the vin off the car and calling up a dealership and asking them if they can find out via the vin number

I have infinity speakers, with the infinity amp and my car came with a single din head unit. I know I got the infinity system because I have teh original sticker and it's on there. I guess i'm just a odd one with the single din head unit. So I guess this narrows it down to looking for the amp and the speakers.
